r/Otonokizaka rules: what actually gets removed

Each rule below is paired with the way it is most likely enforced. Where the rules state a number, we quote it. Where they do not, we say so instead of guessing.

1. 1.Must be related to Love Live

   Enforcement varies

   The content of posts must be related to the Love Live! Franchise. Relation to the franchise through title only is not enough. Love Live must be an integral part of the presentation and/or punchline of the meme, especially when things from multiple series are present. Photographs of IRL things tangentially related to Love Live (such as the μ symbol) are not considered related to Love Live (or memes) by this rule, and will be removed. Parody memes featuring Love Live characters are allowed.

2. 2.Must be a meme or joke

   Enforcement varies

   All posts must be either memes or have some kind of humorous or lighthearted intent. Notably, song-mashups are not considered as such, and will be removed unless there is an obvious ‘shitposty’ spin to the mashup. We realize that humor is subjective, so if you disagree with the removal of a post on these grounds, we encourage you to reach out to the mod team and argue your case. Additionally, meme "templates" are not memes themselves, and will be removed. Unedited screenshots will be removed.

3. 3.Tag NSFW content, no "Cropped Hentai" memes

4. 4.No reposts

   Enforcement varies

   Please do not post a meme that has already been posted here. We take pride in being a meme sub that is nearly 100% OC, and would strongly prefer to keep it that way. Note that if by a stroke of bad luck, you make OC that is identical to someone else’s that has been posted before (this has actually happened multiple times), it will most likely be removed as a repost. If you post a meme from another platform,link the original (even if it is your own) ,use "user unknown" when you dont know the OP

5. 5.Treat other users with respect, make sure to read the bottom text.

   Please refrain from using harsh language towards other users. Harsh language includes, but is not limited to slurs, blatant insults, or attempts to antagonize others. Repeating this offense after being warned by a moderator will result in a ban. If you disagree with a certain post, please do so in a constructive manner.

6. 6.No Fun-Policing

   This is a subreddit for *all* fans of Love Live. As such, any posts/comments that serve no purpose aside from putting down one aspect of the franchise (or the people who happen to like those things) will be removed. Discussion about NSFW morality is not welcome in this subreddit

7. 7.Keep it classy

   Some things shouldn’t be joked about, particularly not an anime idol meme subreddit. Posts and comments involving sensitive topics such as religion, politics, or nastier things like rape are not allowed. “Politics” mainly refers to modern politics, but older events that are still relevant today may fall under this rule. Additionally, note that posts/comments referencing or promoting rape doujins fall under this rule as well.

8. 8.Tag spoilers

   Please tag any memes involving recent content (regardless of whether or not that content is Love Live) as a spoiler.

9. 9.No unedited official content/fanart

   Enforcement varies

   Unedited images/clips from the anime and official content will be removed. Additionally, please direct fanart, including humorous fan comics, to r/LoveLive. If the comic is your own OC, feel free to post it here as well, but in general, r/LoveLive is the better place for those kinds of things.

10. 10.Guidelines for "series" posts.

TL;DR: **If your series is the same joke repeated for each idol, it should be posted as an album or collage, rather than a series of posts**

11. 11.Source Fanart in the Image

    Enforcement varies

    If your meme uses fanart that is not your own, you must credit the original artist in the meme itself. Citing their X handle or Pixiv account name is sufficient. Image rehosting sites like Danbooru will not be accepted as a source, the reason why is because the image page has the link to the source. If possible, please provide a direct link to the source in the comments of the post, and refrain from using fanart from an artist if they have requested their work to not be reprinted/edited.

12. 12.Posts must be given good titles

    Posts must be given a unique title that is appropriate and relevant to the content of the post.

13. 13.Mod Discretion

    This is incase a scenario that was prepared for occurs,this allows mods to act according to their own discretion. Arguing against why your post/comment should remain is welcomed

r/Otonokizaka does not publish karma or account-age minimums in its rules. Subreddits often enforce unpublished filters on top of what they write down, which is why posts from new accounts can vanish without a message here.
