r/pcmasterrace rules: what actually gets removed

Each rule below is paired with the way it is most likely enforced. Where the rules state a number, we quote it. Where they do not, we say so instead of guessing.

1. 1.Harassment/calls to action against others

   Enforcement varies

   Harassment/witch-hunting/doxxing is strictly forbidden. We will not tolerate any kind of incitement to action against anyone, nor will we allow the posting of information that can be used to harm others (celebrities or not). If you are claiming anything that is serious and can be used against anyone, you must provide proof and make an effort to remain active enough to reply to legitimate doubts that other users may have. 2. 2.Follow PCMR Etiquette

   We do not allow brigading, asking for upvotes or downvotes, enabling piracy, flamebaiting, clickbaiting, intentional rudeness, text spamming, using all caps or emojis/smileys/emoticons in titles or overusing them in comments. Meta-reddit or meta-subreddit drama or complaints about this or other communities’ members or moderators, removals, bans, concern trolling and general drama are not allowed. 3. 3.Do not link to outside threads

4. 4.Anonymize all images/screenshots

   Enforcement varies

   Images/screenshots of Reddit, Facebook, Youtube, and other site's comments should have the usernames and other personally identifiable information blacked out (including yours). Celebrities are the exception, as long as you respect rule #1. Do not post someone's personal information, or post links to personal information. 5. 5.No referral or affiliate links

6. 6.Low quality, unrelated, unoriginal or low-effort posts will be deleted at mod discretion.

   Removed by moderators

   Not allowed, among others: Unrelated and low-effort content, general spam, AI slop, blatant reposts; items that aren't PC related even if they are named or look similar; petitions/surveys that aren't academic (and have been pre-approved by the mods); pictures of purchase/shipping notices; simple reaction images/gifs; engaging in concern trolling/faking concern to disrupt dialogue; feigning idiocy when posting or commenting. 7. 7.Do not discriminate against others

   Age, nationality, race, gender, ability, sexuality, religion, political affiliation and economic status are all irrelevant here. All are welcome in the PC Master Race. Also, linking the PC Master Race with racial supremacy or any kind of fascist ideologies, or making distasteful analogies in this regard, is not acceptable in the slightest. 8. 8.No begging, trading, selling, or asking for valuation.

9. 9.Do not abuse the NSFW or Spoiler tags

10. 10.Peasantry posts must be self posts

11. 11.Giveaway rules

    Enforcement varies

    Users giving away physical items must provide photo proof of ownership (including username and date) and post it in the giveaway thread. Asking for upvotes is forbidden. No links to external giveaways or mandatory completion of steps outside the sub without previous approval. No conditional (I will only give if) giveaways. This is only a brief sum-up.
